Bestselling author Stephen King sent shock waves through the digital landscape Friday afternoon upon tweeting: “J.J. Abrams and I want to invite you to take a trip to Castle Rock. Soon. Be afraid.”
The tweet was accompanied by one helluva teaser video announcing the new Hulu television series, Castle Rock, in which over 70 characters, locations, and stories from the world of Stephen King are mentioned.
Though one or two of these ‘name drops’ are so small or out of focus they’re all but unreadable, we’ve managed to compile a list of every name, location, and story the teaser rolls off… as far as the eye can see.

…of course, Constant Readers know Castle Rock as the fictional setting of many King books, including Cujo, The Dead Zone, and Needful Things.
While The Hollywood Reporter speculates Castle Rock will be an anthology series where “each season will follow a different set of characters and story lines, while interjecting themes and specific characters from previous seasons,” Hulu has referred to the project as “a limited series.”
Castle Rock marks the second King and Abrams collaboration for Hulu, the first being the miniseries 11.22.63, now available on blu-ray and DVD.
